Approximately 3 years ago, Cam Harris and a few friends of his just so happened to find themselves 'beached as' in a boat. Mickey popped down with a few beers and they all killed time, drinking and swapping stories whilst waiting 6 hours for the tide to return.

One story Mickey divulged from when he was 17 years of age, was a lengthy story, the short version concluded that Mickey had returned home one weekend to visit his mum and accidentally ended up burning down the top story of their family homestead.

Mickey then mentioned that every time his friends came around, back in the day to pick him up or visit, they would always be blaring out the song ‘Burning down the house’ - Talking Heads. It quickly became Mickey’s theme song. Mickey requested back then that Cam Harris make a modern-day mix of the track for him, this was the result – “Burning Down the Mickey”.
